The race and its winner:

The 1905 Paris-Roubaix was 268 km long and raced at an average speed of 33.206 km/h.

63 starters and 26 classified finishers

1905 was Louis Trousselier's year. He was the first rider to perform a Paris-Roubaix/Tour de France double. That year he also won Paris-Valenciennes and Brussels-Roubaix.

He went on to get third in the 1906 Tour de France and win the 1908 edition of Bordeaux-Paris.

By the end of his racing career he had won 13 Tour de France stages.
