2008 Giro D'Italia
May 10 - June 1, 2008

Pictures by Fotoreporter Sirotti from Tuesday, May 20: Stage 10, Pesaro - Urbino 39.4 km Individual Time Trial.

Giro contender Danilo Di Luca expected to give up time, and give it up he did. He lost 2 minutes to Alberto Contador.

The big question was, will Contador's elbow fracture keep him from turning in a good time. We know the answer, he beat everyone except Lampre's Marzio Bruseghin.

Maglia Rosa holde Giovanni Visconti did a fine job, kept his lead. He lost only a few seconds to Leiphiemer and Simoni and soundly beat Ricco, Pellizotti and Di Luca.

Stage winner Marzio Bruseghin did a terrific job in the hill of Le Marche. This is real bicycle riding country; lonely roads, challenging terrain and stunning scenery.
