Evans unleashed a powerful last-minute attack that gave him second place in today's stage.

Basso led in Scarponi 9 seconds later. Basso doesn't have pink shoes, helmet, shorts, tape or gloves. A pink jersey seemed to suffice.

Arroyo (still on his pink bike) kept his second place going into tomorrows time trial. Nibali is third, but Scarponi is only 1 second behind.
