2018 Giro d'Italia route to be presented November 29
Race will start in Jerusalem, Israel, May 4:
RCS Sport, the Giro's organizer, has been letting details about the 2018 edition trickle out. After three stages in Israel, the race will transfer to Sicily. We'll know the full details of 2018's Giro on Wednesday, November 29, when RCS Sport makes the official route presentation in Milan.
Here are some details about the first stage:
The 2018 Giro d’Italia will start on Friday 4 May with an ITT in Jerusalem, following a very technical route finishing close to the walls of the Old City. With numerous bends on streets of the city and small ascents and descents, the route will pass by landmarks including the Parliament (Knesset) and the historic walls. The finale is uphill, with the gradient increasing from light to more demanding.

Jim Felt leaves Felt Bicycles

IRVINE, USA – Felt Bicycles founder and long-time head of sports marketing Jim Felt will be departing the company he founded in partnership with Bill Duehring. Last April Felt Bicycles was sold to the French outdoor industry company Groupe Rossignol.
Jim Felt established Felt Racing in 1991 as an innovative frame manufacturer serving elite athletes. After forming a partnership with Bill Duehring, former Senior V.P. of Product Development and Engineering at GT Bicycles, and European partner Michael Muellmann of Sport Import, the trio worked together to successfully build one of the leading carbon and aero innovation brands in the cycling industry.
