Friday, February 15: Stage 7, Kuala Rompin - Kuantan, 126.6 km.

There was a bad crash involving sprinters Danilo Hondo and Alberto Loddo just 25 meters from the finish line. Mauro Abel Richeze (CSF Group-Navigare), who caused the crash was able to stay upright. He was penalized for not holding his line with a fine, 30-second time penalty and relegation to the last place in the stage.
