Friday, June 20: Stage 4, Visp - Losone, 168 km. This stage has the 2,478 meter Nufenpass in the middle, with the rest of the stage a long downhil for a probable regroupment.
The finish of the stage had an unusual ending. Sandy Casar and Filippo Simeoni were caught at the entrance to Losone. Kim Kirchen launched a solo attack from the front of the peloton, but was too confident of his victory and stopped sprinting too early. Sandy Casar caught him and threw his bike past Kirchen at the line.
