2009 Tour de France

Monaco is filled with Tour fans right now. Here is a panoramic view of the presentation.
It looks like Columbia's kit got a bit of a redesign. Looks better.
George Hincapie and Kim Kirchen.
Alberto Contador takes a spin for the cameras while Lance Armstrong smiles in the background.
Contador, Armstong and Andreas Kloden. Armstrong looks lean and light. Perhaps Ivan Basso was understating things when he said Armstrong will be a "beast" at the Tour.
Cadel Evans will again have to race without a team that can give him real help in the mountains. With teammate Thomas Dekker's recent dope positive keeping the Dutchman out of the Tour, Evans will be more isolated than ever.
The white Cervelo kits will be a lot more comfortable under the hot July sun than the old black ones. Carlos Sastre is going to try to make it 2 wins in a row.
3 national champions on the Saxo squad: Andy Schleck, Kurt-Asle Arvesen and Fabian Cancellara.
Denis Menchov is going for the Giro-Tour double. It'll be interesting to see if he's recovered from his ferocious battle with Di Luca.
Although he's not here at the presentation, Tom Boonen did get the green light from a French arbitration panel to race the Tour de France. He'll get Allan Davis' place and and his backnumber 153.
