Pictures by Fotoreporter Sirotti from Tour stage 14: Saint Gaudens - Plateau de Beille, 168.5 km

Jelle Vanendert

Jelle Vanendert correctly assessed the negative racing in the yellow jersey group and took off with 6.5 km to go. Nice ride.

Samuel Sanchez

Looking for a second stage win, Samuel Sanchez took off after Vanendert, but came up 21 seconds short.

Andy Schleck

Andy Schleck nabbed a couple of seconds at the end.

Cadel Evans

Then Cadel Evans came in. That's Sky's Rigoberto Uran right on his wheel.

Rigoberto Uran

It's Uran's fate to be out of focus or obscured today. Contador is unable to even match Uran's pace. Voeckler shakes his fist in triumph. He knows he's in yellow for several more days. I'm guessing he'll lead until stage 18.

Damiano Cunego

Damiano Cunego is riding well. He's only 1 second behind Contador in the GC.

Ivan Basso

Ivan Basso leads the yellow jersey group.

Thomas Voeckler

Thomas Voeckler is followed by Andy Schleck.

Alberto Contador

Alberto Contador suffered no damage today.
