Standing between Valverde and his permanent possension of the golden jersey is tomorrow's mountain stage (3 category 1 climbs, but not a hilltop finish) and Saturday's time trial. Oh, and there's that messy Operacion Puerto doping thing going on that could leave him stripped of the Vuelta victory if it ends up going against him. But mentioning that would be rude and make me the skunk at the picnic. |
