Dario Cataldo stuggles up the impossibly steep road
Thomas De Gendt was only a few seconds back.
Cataldo was a wreck after barely getting up the 23% final kilometer.
Panorama
Rodriguez and Contador make their way through the crowd.
What an insane day of racing
After enduring countless attacks from Contador, Rodriguez unleashes on of his own.
But he cold not open much of a gap either
Almost never far from Rodriguez and Contador, Valverde punched welll above his weight today.
Nairo Quintana dragged Valverde back up to Rodriguez and Contador at least once.
Igor Anton
Laurens Ten Dam
Andrew Talansky
Robert Gesink
Daniel Moreno
Christopher Froome. It's been a very long, hard season and I'm not surprised he's running out of gas. the surprise is that he's been this good this long.
Nicolas Roche
Przemyslaw Niemiec
Ivan Velasco and Gorka Verdugo
Damiano Cunego
Beñat Intxausti
Maxime Monfort
Stage winner Dario Cataldo
I think Rodriguez won the Vuelta today. Contador threw everything at him to no avail.
